    FAQ

    What areas do you cover?

I proudly serve clients throughout the Midlands of South Carolina, providing knowledgeable and personalized real estate services in Columbia, Lexington, Chapin, Irmo, Saluda, Newberry, Elgin, Camden, and Blythewood, along with surrounding communities.  Whether assisting buyers, sellers, or investors, I am committed to delivering exceptional service, strong market insight, and a seamless experience across each of these unique areas. From lake living and rural properties to growing suburban neighborhoods and historic communities, I work diligently to help clients achieve their real estate goals throughout the region.

What should Buyers know when choosing between Lexington and Chapin?

Lexington and Chapin are two of the most desirable communities in the Midlands, each offering a unique lifestyle while sharing strong schools, growing neighborhoods and close access to Lake Murray.  Lexington is larger and more developed, with a business suburban atmosphere, a growing downtown district, extensive shopping and dining options, and convenient access to Columbia.  It tends to appeal to those looking for more amenities, entertainment, and newer commercial growth.

Chapin offers a smaller-town feel with a stronger emphasis on lake living, outdoor recreation, and quieter pace of life.  Chapin is especially popular among families seeking highly rated schools and more scenic, community-oriented environment. Wh lie both areas continue to grow rapidly, Lexington generally offers more convenience and activity, whereas Chapin provides a more relaxed, residential atmosphere centered around the lake and small-town charm.

Is there a fee to determine my home's value?

No, I provide no-cost home value assessments that take into account current market conditions, recent comparable sales, your property's features, and local market trends.  Whether you are thinking about selling soon or simply want to better understand your home's current value, I'm happy to provide professional insight and guidance at no cost to you.  Please call 803-529-0219

What is the difference between a home value assessment and a Zillow Estimate?

Estimates can be less reliable for unique homes, rural properties, luxury homes, recently renovated homes, or areas with fewer recent sales.  They also cannot fully account for a home's condition, upgrades, curb appeal, layout, or features that are not reflected in public records.  Real estate professionals provide comparative market analysys and local market expertise for the most accurate pricing strategy.

Where do I begin in the home buying process?

Selecting an agent that understands the market you want to purchase in, and a reliable lender that can provide you with a pre-approval are the first steps in purchasing a home.  This helps understand and define your budget for your home purchasing journey.
