Lavender is one of my favorite scents so going to 123 Farm for the Lavender festival was a no brainer. It was my first time attending the festival and was greatly pleased with the abundance of activites and food.
I couldn't have asked for a better group of spontaneous friends who love a good adventure.
Upon arrival, we checked in and were given a beautifully illustrated map with detailed information of all the happenings throughout the farm. As we walked in, we were greeted by our first batch of lavender fields and heard the subtle noise of blissful jazz music playing from afar (lots of Sinatra). My heart tingled with joy and I became overwhelmed with my surroundings in the best possible way. It all felt like a magical movie scene. Oh, and there were strategically placed string lights adorned on the trees by the food area. I can't imagine how beautiful the space lit up at dusk.
Goodies purchased from the marketplace for some of my family members.
We all tasted lavender inspired dishes and desserts.
Food: I ate a grilled veggie wrap drizzled with a cherry lavender balsamic vinaigrette.
Drink: I sipped on the classic lavender lemonade.
Dessert: I inhaled a blueberry lavender donut.
Some friendly creatures spotted throughout our day.
